Acceptable Use Policy

ModernEDI is intended for legitimate business EDI operations. This Acceptable Use Policy applies to ModernEDI workspaces, hosted AS2 endpoints, integration APIs, user invitations, transactional email, support channels, and related service activity.

Prohibited Activity

• Unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, abusive, harassing, or harmful activity.
• Spam, phishing, impersonation, credential harvesting, or misleading messages.
• Malware, exploit delivery, vulnerability scanning without permission, or attempts to bypass security controls.
• Unauthorized access to ModernEDI, customer workspaces, partner systems, APIs, queues, certificates, keys, or infrastructure.
• Traffic that intentionally disrupts, overloads, degrades, or interferes with the service or other customers.
• Use of ModernEDI to process or transmit content that violates law, contractual obligations, or third-party rights.
• Use of purchased, rented, scraped, or third-party marketing lists for ModernEDI invitations or account-notification email.

EDI and AS2 Traffic

Customers may use ModernEDI to exchange AS2 and EDI traffic with legitimate trading partners. Customers are responsible for confirming partner authorization, validating endpoint details, testing mappings, and ensuring that transmitted documents are expected by the receiving party.

Invitations and Email

Workspace invitations and account-notification email may only be sent to legitimate business users who are expected to participate in the customer's EDI, AS2, technical, operational, administrative, support, or billing workflows.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected misuse and may throttle, block, remove, suspend, or terminate workspaces, users, traffic, integrations, invitations, or email sending where we believe there is legal, abuse, security, deliverability, availability, or operational risk.
